Cancer & Food
Can we heal or prevent cancer through food? I cannot claim that nor deny it. We are all individual and react in different ways to different therapies, including traditional medical treatments. Food as a therapeutic tool is however very important in our fight against cancer. We do know that certain foods and combinations are cancerous, and that some are cancer fighting. We know that some increase risk and some lower risk. We know that increased insulin levels cause a higher risk. We do know that preservatives, growth hormones, pesticides, antibiotics and artificial coloring increase risk. We also know that certain foods and lifestyle help us to powerfully strengthen our defenses against the dangers of cancer.
Whether you are at risk for cancer and in search of prevention or have been diagnosed with cancer and are in treatment; either way, food education and a change in habits and choices will profoundly help you, not only on your healing path but simply to feel better.
Energy is as precious as gold when in cancer treatment. Eating can be a chore in itself. Therefore, little choices can make big differences. Every little bite counts.
