Digestive Disorders

Digestive disorders can be felt in many ways – for some it is a daily pain, for some it is daily discomfort, for some it has become a diseased state.

Food intolerances, celiac disease, and food allergies can be the cause of digestive disorders that are easy to shift and ease with a new food plan. When these intolerances are not observed over long periods of time, they can become more of a chronic condition and cause problems like IBS, chronic constipation, colitis, Crohn’s and other GI problems.

The digestive system runs our daily lives. It affects our energy, mood, thoughts, emotional balance, immune system, and overall health. We absorb our nutrients through our digestive system and we can end up malnourished, anemic, hypoglycemic, candida, and constantly thinking about food because of not feeling satisfied. With such disorderly eating and chaotic daily life can become a constant struggle.

Very often it takes investigation and exploration through elimination diet, learning new choices, and finding new habits. It is a process, but there is relief and freedom when you learn how to eat right for you.
